Formosa is quite possibly the best Chinese restaurant in Memphis. Da Chun Shrimp is my favorite dish. They do a phenomenal job with their eggrolls and crab Rangoon, and any of their Wok-prepared dishes. Family style is the only way to order at Formosa! Get a lot and try everything!
Stopped in for a late lunch and had an excellent experience. The food was prepared fresh when we ordered and everything tasted delicious! The interior of the restaurant is clean and well organized and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Will be back again soon!
Best Hot n Sour Soup anywhere, spicy and they will add spice if you ask. Lunch specials are fantastic, comes with egg roll, soup & chicken leg. We drive from Southaven for great Chinese food !
This is one of those rare places where people steal Dine in. The ambience is great for a conversation and the lunch specials come out fairly quickly. Great old style dining in Chinese restaurant right off the interstate. Professional traditional full service.
Great Chinese restaurant love the springs rolls they are the best in town, make sure you order the sweet and sour sauce on the side. Their chicken fried rice is also good and they give a generous portion. Friendly staff and if you order Togo your food will be packaged nicely and there is hardly any waiting time.

This is my and my husband favorite chinese restaurant in town! If we eat other chinese food we always compare it with Formosa and this place wins every time, every single item in the menu is awesome and we love the atmosphere. My very favorites are the sesame chicken and the veggie or chicken mushoo, Also my favorite hit and sour soup, nothing compares to it. Is the best one period! Lunch specials are great from 12 to 2 pm and they give you generous portions. We have been spoiled by Formosa and come in everytime we want chinese food even though we live in midtown, is worth the trip!!!
